Breathe deeper, live greener — explore how the Pocket Forest project by Foresta & Atma is transforming small spaces into sacred lungs for the Earth.

Atma Forests is a reforestation project with heart, rooted in community, regeneration, and justice.
In collaboration with our friends at Foresta, we’re planting native pocket forests in urban areas — transforming small, forgotten spaces into thriving ecosystems. But this goes beyond trees: our vision is to create living sanctuaries where nature, peace, and community come together. We’re giving back to Mexico City — a city that holds so much of our collective story — by bringing green to places with the least access, and offering free mindfulness and wellbeing experiences for those who live there. Each forest becomes not just a place to breathe cleaner air, but a space to reconnect, slow down, and heal — for both people and the planet.

Why give?

  • We plant native mini-forests in urban areas using the Miyawaki method — a proven technique that restores biodiversity up to 10x faster than traditional reforestation.

  • We reclaim small, underused urban spaces and transform them into vibrant, self-sustaining ecosystems that improve air quality, reduce heat, and bring life back to the city.

  • Pocket forests act as natural air and water filters, helping regenerate the land and reconnect people to the rhythms of nature — right in the heart of urban environments.

  • We only use native species, which supports local flora and fauna, restores ecological balance, and ensures long-term resilience without irrigation or maintenance.

  • We’re creating spaces of healing, not just planting trees — each forest will host free programs in mindfulness, meditation, and community care.

  • By supporting this project, you're helping heal the Earth at a local level — creating visible, tangible impact for future generations.
